NEW DELHI, June 4 (H.S.): All ten accused in the Red Fort blast case were produced before the Patiala House Court in the national capital on Thursday.
The National Investigation Agency (National Investigation Agency) had filed a chargesheet against all ten accused in the case on May 14. According to the agency, the explosion resulted in the death of 11 people. The 7,500-page chargesheet also names Umar-un-Nabi, who was killed in the blast, as an accused. The NIA stated at the time of filing the chargesheet that it may submit a supplementary chargesheet in the case.
The agency alleged that the car bomb explosion near the Red Fort on November 10, 2025, was planned by Umar-un-Nabi, who died on the spot in the incident. The vehicle involved in the blast was an i10 car registered in the name of Amir Rashid Ali.
The NIA arrested one of the accused, Danish, from Srinagar. According to the agency, Danish modified drones technologically and attempted to prepare rockets prior to the car bomb explosion. The agency further alleged that he played a key role in executing the conspiracy along with Umar-un-Nabi.
Danish, a graduate in political science, was allegedly radicalised by Umar-un-Nabi and indoctrinated to become a suicide attacker. He reportedly agreed to meet members of the “doctor module” at a mosque in Kulgam in October 2024, from where he was taken to Al-Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana.
The blast occurred on November 10, 2025, near the Red Fort area when an i10 car exploded, leading to multiple fatalities.
