development, operation and implementation of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Employment and Industrial Zone

Lucknow, 03 June (HS): The Directorate of Industry and

Enterprise Promotion, Uttar Pradesh has taken an important initiative towards

providing employment-oriented skill training to the youth in the state and

preparing skilled and semi-skilled workforce as per the requirements of the

industries.

In this regard, expressions of interest have been invited

from eligible and willing organizations to select anchor partners for the

development, operation, management, and implementation of the proposed Sardar

Vallabhbhai Patel Employment and Industrial Zones at various locations in the

state. Interested and eligible organizations can submit their expressions of

interest by June 11, 2026. Applications and other necessary details are

available on the website https://msme.up.gov.in/

Commissioner and Director of Industries K. Vijayendra

Pandian stated that the objective is to develop integrated modern training

facilities to prepare skilled and semi-skilled workers needed by industries.

Additionally, employment and self-employment opportunities will be promoted by

providing youth with skills training tailored to industry needs and providing

plug-and-play facilities. He explained that the project will be operated on a

hub and spoke model.
