Instructions to expedite road, electricity, water supply and
other infrastructure works
All departments given target to complete work before stipulated
deadline
Lucknow, 03 June (HS): Taking another important step towards
making Uttar Pradesh the country's leading industrial and textile hub under the
leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state's Minister for Handloom
and Textiles, Silk, Khadi and Village Industries, Rakesh Sachan, on Tuesday
conducted a site inspection of the PM Mitra Mega Textile Park being developed
on the border of Lucknow and Hardoi districts. Taking stock of the various
construction works of this ambitious project, being developed on an area of
approximately 1000 acres, he directed officials to further expedite the
development work.
Minister Sachan physically verified the boundary wall,
entrance gate, electrical substation, internal infrastructure, and other
development works currently under construction within the park complex.
Following this, he held a detailed review meeting with officials from all
departments involved in the project, reviewing the current status of the work
and future action plans.
During the meeting, officials from the Public Works
Department, Electricity Department, Jal Nigam, Forest Department, UPSIC, and
Handloom and Textiles Department briefed Minister Sachan on the project's
progress. The Public Works Department presented an updated status on road construction
and link road development, and the Minister directed further progress on the
work.
Minister Sachan directed that where traffic issues are
arising due to the park's boundary wall, a survey should be conducted in
coordination with all concerned parties, and necessary routes should be
included in the road construction plan. A proposal for drain construction
should also be prepared to ensure proper drainage. He directed that the
strengthening of Attari Farm Road and the development of the six-lane road under
construction from the park's main gate towards Lucknow be prioritized.
Minister Sachan directed UPSIC to expedite the clearing of
the remains of felled trees in the park area, including their roots, and
directed the Handloom Department to expedite the task of removing bushes and
shrubs. He also stressed the need to complete the work related to the
establishment of a power substation and industrial water supply in a mission
mode.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Sachan stated that the PM
Mitra Mega Textile Park will become a new pillar of Uttar Pradesh's industrial
progress. This project will attract significant investment to the state and
create new employment and self-employment opportunities for thousands of youth.
He stated that the Yogi government's priority is to ensure that all development
work related to the project is completed in a quality manner and ahead of
schedule, so that this ambitious textile park can quickly take shape.

Commissioner Siddharth Singh, SDO of Electricity Department Rajat, Executive

Rajesh Kumar and senior officers of various departments including UPSIC were
present in the meeting.
