
Indian farmers' voice resonates in America; Dilip Sanghani's
initiative receives global acclaim
Prayagraj, 03 June (HS): The voices of Indian farmers are
now being heard more strongly on global platforms. An important agricultural
dialogue held in the United States under the leadership of IFFCO Chairman Dilip
Sanghani has strengthened the prospects for a new direction for India-US
agricultural cooperation. The prestigious US-India Business Council has praised
this initiative, calling it an important step toward increasing agricultural
cooperation between the two countries.
At this meeting held in Washington, IFFCO President Dilip
Sanghani, leading the delegation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, held a comprehensive discussion on the challenges, opportunities, and
future prospects of the agricultural sector. In a message released on its
official social platform after the meeting, the Council stated that this
dialogue will provide new energy to agricultural cooperation between India and
the United States and open new avenues for solutions to shared challenges and
innovation-based development.
The meeting focused on topics such as sustainable
agricultural development, food and nutrition security, increasing agricultural
productivity, utilizing advanced agricultural technologies, improving soil
health, and providing modern technical assistance to farmers. Agricultural
experts, policymakers, and industry representatives from both countries agreed
that increased cooperation can ensure long-term benefits for farmers.
The Council specifically emphasized that innovation-driven
policies, research collaborations, and technology partnerships are the future
of agriculture. The Council also underscored the need for stronger ties between
India and the United States to ensure farmer prosperity and global food
security. Experts believe that the public prominence given to this meeting by
an influential US trade organization is a sign of the growing global
recognition of the Indian cooperative movement. It is also seen as a testament
to IFFCO's international standing and its effective global advocacy of the
interests of Indian farmers under Dilip Sanghani's leadership.
According to agricultural experts, this dialogue will pave
the way for new partnerships in areas such as agricultural research,

along with IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari, General
