Gorakhpur, 03 June (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

stated that security is paramount for development and enterprise. Without

security, neither good governance nor prosperity is possible. Since 2017, the

government has pursued a zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals.

This policy is non-negotiable. He stated that those who disobey the

zero-tolerance policy will be reprimanded in a language they understand, but

they will not be allowed to rob the youth of their jobs. Chief Minister Yogi

was addressing a public gathering on Wednesday after inaugurating the first

flatted factory complex in eastern Uttar Pradesh and the second in the entire

state, built at a cost of Rs. 42.50 crore in Sector 13 of GIDA (Gorakhpur

Industrial Development Authority), and the inauguration of an EWS-LIG

residential complex for GIDA's employed workers. On this occasion, he

inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 71 development projects worth

approximately Rs. 208 crore in various sectors of GIDA. The Chief Minister

distributed certificates to allottees of EWS and LIG buildings. On this

occasion, allottees of industrial land also received allotment certificates

from the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also presented certificates to

youth trained by NIELIT.

“Today, in the Gorakhpur district, I participated in the

program organized for the inauguration/foundation stone laying of various

development projects, including a Flatted Factory Complex costing Rs. 208 crore

and EWS, LIG residential complexes, in the Gorakhpur Industrial Development

Authority (GIDA) area. On this occasion, allotment letters were also

distributed to the allottees of EWS, LIG housing and industrial plots, along

with certificates to students trained at the NIELIT Skill Center. In this

state-of-the-art flatted factory, more than 100 MSME industries will be able to

operate within a single campus, which will also serve as an exemplary model for

industrial development on a global scale. Heartiest congratulations to all entrepreneurs and residents

of the district,” UP CM stated in a post on X.

At the event, the Chief Minister stated that since 2017,

Uttar Pradesh has provided a model of security. This model has led to

industrial development and employment for millions of youth. GIDA alone has

employed 50,000 youth in the past few years. This would not have been possible

without a secure environment. CM Yogi stated that the government has resolved

to ensure that the development process will continue, that everyone will

receive security, and that everyone will benefit from public welfare schemes

without discrimination. However, if anyone tries to usurp the rights of the

poor through arrogance, makes a vile attempt to threaten businessmen, or dares

to compromise the dignity of daughters, the government will not spare them.

Such people will be found and brought to justice, even from the underworld.

This is the spirit of zero tolerance being implemented in Uttar Pradesh.

Investment proposals worth Rs 50 lakh crore received due to

security environment: CM Yogi said that due to the security environment created

in the state, the government received investment proposals worth Rs. 50 lakh

crore. Of these, proposals worth Rs. 15 lakh crore have been implemented, and

investment proposals worth Rs. 7.5 lakh crore are ready for groundbreaking. The

Chief Minister said that this large-scale investment has provided jobs and

employment to millions of people. The encouragement given to MSMEs has provided

employment to 3 crore people in their villages and areas.

Youth from every district got government jobs: The Chief

Minister said that in addition to a zero-tolerance policy on crime, the

government has also adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and

corrupt individuals. As a result, more than 900,000 government jobs have been

created in the state. Youth from all districts have secured government jobs.

Ample opportunities for recruitment into government jobs have been provided in

the state.

Great achievements are possible only with good government: CM

Yogi said that excellent achievements in the field of development, industry and

employment are possible only when a good government comes to power. A good

government is formed when the public elects good public representatives. He

said that when the public made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister in 2014, the

world's view towards India changed under his leadership. In the new India,

heritage is being preserved along with development. He said that on the call of

PM Modi, the people of UP formed the BJP government in 2017 and this government

worked two steps ahead of the aspirations of the people. Giving the example of

the election of good public representatives, the Chief Minister said that when

the public elected leaders like Ravi Kishan as MP, Vipin Singh and Pradeep Shukla

as MLAs, the development process moved forward rapidly.

GIDA has changed in 9 years: Expressing happiness over the

industrial development taking place in GIDA, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

said that GIDA has transformed in the last nine years. Steel, pipes, and good

clothes are being manufactured in the industries here. PepsiCo's franchise

Varun Beverages and Bisleri also have units. New industries are coming up. A

good distillery is being set up. The Gita Press institute is also being built

here. The Chief Minister said that industries are not only centers of

production but they are also bringing employment. The training provided by

GIDA's NIIT Center is also a guarantee of employment for the youth here.

GIDA is being expanded till Dhuriyapar area: The Chief

Minister said that GIDA is now expanding to the Dhuriapar area. An industrial

township is being developed on 7,000 acres in the Dhuriapar area. Cement and

paint factories are coming up there. He said that the Gorakhpur Link Express is

also greatly benefiting the industry. Due to this, the travel time from

Gorakhpur to Lucknow has been reduced from 7-8 hours to three to three and a

half hours.

Flatted Factory is the best ready-to-use model for MSMEs: Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath described the flattened factory as an excellent model

of ready-to-use, plug-and-play, facility for MSME units. Describing it as an

innovative initiative by GIDA, the CM said that young people who don't have the

money to purchase land or set up a factory can come directly and start working

there. Even with a small investment, good profits can be earned. He stated that

this would prove to be an excellent model for readymade garments, electronics,

and other MSME units. He noted that the flattened factory currently has three stories

and can be expanded to three more stories. He also praised GIDA for providing

excellent housing at affordable rates to workers employed at GIDA who come from

remote areas.

GIDA is becoming an industrial hub under the leadership of

CM Yogi: Ravi Kishan - At the inauguration-foundation stone laying ceremony

held at GIDA, MP Ravi Kishan said that under the leadership of CM Yogi, GIDA is

becoming a big industrial hub. It is becoming a big center for employment of

youth. Welcoming the Chief Minister at the program, Sahajanwa MLA Pradeep

Shukla said that under the guidance of CM Yogi, Sahajanwa assembly constituency

is presenting an example of development. On this occasion, Mayor Dr. Manglesh

Srivastava, MLC and BJP State Vice President Dr. Dharmendra Singh, MLA Fateh

Bahadur Singh, Shriram Chauhan, Vipin Singh, Mahendrapal Singh, Dr. Vimlesh

Paswan, Sarwan Nishad, State Women Commission Vice President Charu Chaudhary,

BJP District President Janardan Tiwari, Infrastructure and Industrial

Development Commissioner Deepak Kumar etc. were prominently present.

CM inspected the flattened factory: After cutting the ribbon

and inaugurating it, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the flatted

factory complex. He expressed his hope that if required in the future, this

building should be expanded further. GIDA CEO Anuj Malik told the CM that the design

of this building is such that it can be expanded by three more floors. After

the inspection, the Chief Minister also planted trees in the premises of the

flatted factory. On this occasion, he performed the Annaprashan ceremony of the

children and gave them toys after showering his blessings. Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath also performed the baby shower ceremony of pregnant women by

presenting them with Poshan Potli.

The Chief Minister also inspected the residential complex

built for the workers. CM Yogi also inaugurated the LIG and EWS residential

complexes built for workers in various GIDA units by cutting the ribbon. After

inspecting the housing, he also planted a sapling on the premises.
