Adityanath actively honours Sant Kabir Das on his birth anniversary (Kabir Das
Jayanti), which occurs on the full moon (Purnima) day of the Hindu month of
Jyeshtha. The state government commemorates the anniversary with a variety of
cultural and administrative activities. CM Yogi pays tribute to the saint-poet
on government media channels, emphasizing Kabir's teachings criticising social evils
as well as his message of Nirgun Bhakti (formless devotion) and equality. The
UP government (typically through the Sant Kabir Academy, Maghar) arranges
multi-day cultural events like as the 'Nirgun Tridhara Bhakti Utsav', which
includes spiritual discourse and Kabir Vani. The Chief Minister routinely
inaugurates and establishes the groundwork for different development and
infrastructural initiatives in saint-related region, such as Sant Kabir Nagar.
He stated in a post on X, “On the Jayanti of Sant Kabir Das
Ji, the torchbearer of the Nirgun Bhakti tradition, the great social reformer,
and the epoch-maker, countless salutations. His teachings continue to inspire
us even today to remain devoted to compassion, integrity, and social
consciousness.
