New Delhi, 26 June (H.S.): Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Friday met Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama in New Delhi.

In a post on X, Rijiju said, I visited His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Delhi to enquire about his well-being. I was delighted to find him in good spirits and recovering swiftly following his recent knee surgery. I sought his blessings and, as always, came away inspired by his compassion, wisdom and humility.

It may be recalled that the Dalai Lama underwent a successful surgery on his left knee at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi on June 8. He has since been recovering steadily.
