Ayodhya, 19 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath on Friday unveiled the equestrian statue of warrior Jhalkari Bai at

Maa Kamakhya Dham located in Rudauli assembly constituency. On this occasion,

the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 126

development projects worth Rs 378 crore. The Chief Minister said, I pay my

humble tribute to the immortal warrior of India, Jhalkari Bai, who forced the

British to face tough times for the country's independence in the 1857 freedom

struggle.

Addressing the public on this occasion, Yogi Adityanath said

that respecting national heroes and honoring brave men and women inspires

patriotism. Inspired by this spirit of patriotism, the double-engine BJP

government has launched numerous campaigns in the name of Maharani Lakshmibai,

Maharani Durgavati, Maharani Avantibai Lodhi, and warrior women Jhalkari Bai

and Udadevi. Three new PAC battalions have been formed, named after Veerangna

Avantibai Lodhi, Veerangna Jhalkari Bai Kori, and Veerangna Udadevi Pasi. Only

women will be recruited in these three battalions. Wherever PAC battalions are

being formed, a statue of a horseman will be installed. Revolutionaries

dedicatedly sacrificed their all in the fight for national independence,

working with dedication for the nation's freedom.

President Roli Singh, MLA Ramchandra Yadav, Bikapur MLA Amit Singh Chauhan,

Singh, Block Chief Rajiv Tiwari, BJP District General Secretary Raghavendra

Pandey and District Minister Abhishek Yadav were prominently present.
