Imphal, 15 June (HS): Marking 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre, Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh conducted an outreach programme by visiting the homes of several prominent personalities in the state, CM office informed today.

During the programme, the Chief Minister met distinguished citizens including Y Rajen, L Bino Devi and L Bedapati Devi. He was accompanied by BJP Singjamei Mandal President L Shantikumar Sharma.

Interacting with the personalities, Khemchand Singh highlighted the major achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years. He emphasized the Centre’s efforts towards good governance, inclusive growth and the effective implementation of welfare schemes aimed at improving the lives of citizens.

The Chief Minister said that Manipur remains dedicated to advancing the vision of development and public welfare, while continuing to contribute to the nation’s progress through various people-centric initiatives.

The outreach exercise was part of a nationwide campaign being observed to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.----------
