
Jammu, 14 June (H.S.): As part of the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan launched under the guidance of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, 15 JKAP IR organized a yoga session and route march at the Tawi River Front,
Around 350 officers, officials of the unit and members of Jammu Club participated in the programme, reflecting strong commitment towards the objectives of the anti-drug campaign. The yoga session was conducted by instructor Anu Mahajan, who demonstrated various asanas and breathing exercises aimed at enhancing physical fitness and mental well-being.
At the outset, SSP Dushyant Sharma, Commandant 15 JKAP IR Battalion, welcomed participants including Jammu Club members Rakesh Sharma, Suresh Jandial, R.K. Rishu and Dr Ravinder K. Gupta, along with other prominent members. He highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining fitness and emotional stability, especially in view of upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra duties.
The event witnessed participation of SP Zulfaqar Ahmad (Deputy Commandant), DySPs Anita Pawar, Harmohinder Singh and Almas Sharma, along with Inspectors Pooja Kumari, Manju Bala and Anita Bandral, besides other officers and officials.Geographic Reference
The programme was held at the Tawi River Front, promoting it as a hub for health, fitness and community engagement. The Commandant appreciated the efforts of all participants and urged them to maintain fitness and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
