Jammu, 13 June (H.S.): In a major boost to road connectivity in Marmat Block, MLA Doda West, Shakti Raj Parihar today inaugurated the Dinore-Chamote to Dehra temple via Bhutangal road, constructed under the NABARD scheme.

The road project, spanning approximately three kilometres, has been completed at a sanctioned cost of Rs 5.5 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, Shakti Raj Parihar said that the road will significantly improve transportation facilities and provide better connectivity to the residents of Dinore, Chamote, Bhutangal and adjoining areas. He stated that the project will not only reduce travel time but also facilitate easier access to essential services, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and local markets.

The MLA emphasized that strengthening road infrastructure in remote and rural areas remains one of the key priorities of his developmental agenda. He noted that improved connectivity serves as the backbone of economic growth and social development, bringing new opportunities for local communities.

Shakti Raj Parihar highlighted that the newly inaugurated road will also provide improved access to the revered Dehra Temple, making travel more convenient for devotees and visitors. He reiterated his commitment towards ensuring balanced and inclusive development across all areas of Doda West constituency.
