Bhubaneswar, 13 June (H.S.): Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of five Indian Air Force personnel in an AN-32 aircraft crash near Jorhat.

In a social media post, the Governor conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and paid tribute to the personnel who lost their lives in the incident. He described the deceased as brave air warriors whose courage, dedication, and service to the nation will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.

The Governor stated that the nation stands united in grief over the loss of the IAF personnel and offered prayers for the departed souls, wishing them “sadgati.” He also prayed for the swift recovery of the co-pilot who is currently undergoing medical treatment following the crash.
