
Bhubaneswar, 13 June (H.S.): The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has announced the conduct of the 2nd/Special OJEE 2026 to provide candidates with an additional opportunity for admission into various professional courses across the state.
According to the official notification, the Special OJEE 2026 will be conducted tentatively from July 13 to July 15, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination has been introduced to fill vacant seats remaining after the completion of the first round of counselling.
The entrance test will facilitate admissions into multiple programmes, including B.Tech, Lateral Entry Engineering (Diploma and B.Sc. streams), B.Pharm, Basic B.Sc. Nursing, MBA, and MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science courses.
The online application process for the Special OJEE 2026 will begin on June 16, 2026, and will remain open until June 28, 2026 (11:00 PM). Candidates have been advised to submit their applications only through the official portals: OJEE Official Website and Odisha JEE Portal.
Applicants are instructed to carefully review the Information Brochure available on the official website before applying. The brochure contains detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, examination pattern, syllabus, and other important guidelines.
As per the schedule, the syllabus for B.Tech aspirants will be aligned with JEE Main 2026, while candidates for other programmes will follow the standard OJEE 2026 syllabus.
The committee further clarified that candidates who have already qualified in JEE Main 2026 (for B.Tech admissions) or secured a rank in the main OJEE 2026 (for other courses) will not be required to appear for the Special OJEE examination.
