
Jammu, 12 June (H.S.): Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha Jammu), Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with MLA Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Sharma, former MLA, Rajeev Sharma, and senior BJP leaders, visited BJP block Sohal-Sungal in the Akhnoor Assembly constituency and honoured prominent citizens and retired persons at their residences under the BJP’s nationwide programme commemorating the completion of 12 years of the Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
During the visit, the leaders honoured distinguished personalities including the Principal of Government Degree College Akhnoor, retired officers from the Armed Forces including Subedar and Captain, retired Headmaster, and senior citizens associated with the historic Praja Parishad movement. The leaders appreciated their invaluable contribution towards society, education, nation-building, and public service.
Addressing the gatherings, Jugal Kishore Sharma stated that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has become the first elected Prime Minister of India to have successfully completed 4,399 days as an elected Prime Minister, reflecting the immense trust and confidence reposed in him by the people of the country. He said that the BJP is celebrating 12 years of Vikas, Vishwas and Jan Kalyan, marked by unprecedented development, transparent governance, welfare-oriented policies, and India’s growing stature on the global stage.
The MP highlighted several transformative initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and lauded his unwavering commitment towards the welfare of every section of society. He emphasized that the Government’s people-centric policies have ensured inclusive growth and have brought developmental benefits to the remotest corners of the nation.
Jugal Kishore Sharma also visited Government Degree College Akhnoor and inspected the Chowki Choura Tunnel, describing it as a symbol of the nation’s “Pragati Path” and the rapid infrastructure development taking place under the present Government. He appreciated the pace of developmental works and reiterated the Government’s commitment towards strengthening connectivity and creating better opportunities for the people.
