
Bhubaneswar, 12 June (H.S.): In a major relief for students appearing for the NEET (UG) re-examination, the Odisha government has announced a free bus service for candidates across the state. The initiative has been taken to ensure hassle-free transportation to examination centres.
According to directions issued by the Department of Commerce and Transport, NEET (UG) candidates will be allowed to travel free of cost on buses operated by the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC). Candidates will be required to produce their admit cards to avail of the facility.
The special arrangement aims to help students reach their examination centres on time and without inconvenience, particularly those travelling from distant areas.
The NEET (UG) re-examination is scheduled to be held on June 21. A total of 56,983 candidates are expected to appear for the test at 134 examination centres across Odisha.
