Bhubaneswar, 12 June (H.S.): Marking the completion of two years of his government, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed gratitude to the people of the state through a social media post, highlighting the achievements of his administration and reaffirming his commitment to public service.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that on June 12, 2024, a new era of good governance began in Odisha with the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the unwavering support and trust of the people. He noted that he was entrusted with the responsibility of serving the state under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reflecting on his journey from being a teacher and sarpanch to a legislator and eventually the Chief Minister, Majhi said that his dedication to public service has remained unchanged despite holding the state's highest office. He described the Chief Minister’s post not as a position of power, but as a sacred medium for serving the people.

The Chief Minister stated that over the past two years, the government has focused on service, dedication and good governance, earning the trust of citizens across the state. He said significant progress has been witnessed in various sectors, including rural development, urban infrastructure, agriculture, industry, education and healthcare.

Majhi emphasized that the government's development initiatives have been made possible through the blessings, cooperation and confidence of the people of Odisha. He described the past two years as not merely a period of governance, but a collective mission dedicated to building a prosperous state.

Reiterating his vision for Odisha, the Chief Minister said his goal is to build a prosperous, empowered and developed state. He added that this vision is not his alone but a shared aspiration of more than 45 million Odias.

Calling for collective efforts to accelerate the pace of development, Majhi urged citizens to continue contributing towards the progress of the state. He concluded by stating that every moment of his life remains dedicated to the service of Odisha and that the love and trust of the people are the greatest source of strength behind the government's development journey.
