Morigaon (Assam), 11 June (HS): Assam Minister and Morigaon Guardian Minister Ajanta Neog reviewed ongoing development projects in the district and directed officials to ensure quality work and timely completion of all government schemes.

Chairing a District Development Committee meeting, Neog instructed departments to complete all roads sanctioned between 2022-23 and 2024-25 by December this year and expedite construction of Morigaon Medical College for completion by March next year.

She also reviewed flood preparedness, erosion control measures, PMAY implementation, fisheries development and awareness programmes under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Stressing inter-departmental coordination, the Minister said Morigaon should emerge as one of Assam’s leading districts and assured full support for its overall development.----------
