Morigaon (Assam), 10 June (HS): Marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievement of becoming India’s longest-serving Prime Minister, prayers and religious ceremonies were organised at temples and monasteries across the country, including several locations in Assam, seeking his good health and long life.

Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika participated in a special prayer programme at the Boha Ganesh Temple in Jagiroad on Wednesday. He offered traditional xorai and paid his respects at the temple, praying for the continued well-being and longevity of the Prime Minister.

Congratulating PM Modi on completing 12 years at the helm of the nation and entering his 13th year as Prime Minister, Hazarika praised his leadership and contribution to the country's development and transformation.

The minister said that under Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed significant progress across various sectors and has strengthened its position on the global stage. He expressed hope that the Prime Minister would continue to guide the nation towards greater prosperity in the years ahead.----------
