(HS): The four-storey building of NEET-UG paper leak accused P V Kulkarni in

Beed is being demolished. The building on an old house is said to be illegal.

The demolition of the building is being carried out after the expiry of notice

period issued to him.

Kulkarni is

originally from Beed and had started construction of a four-storey building in

Shahu Nagar. The contractor who was constructing the building himself has

started demolition under the supervision of Beed Municipality authorities.

Kulkarni was

arrested in connection with NEET-UG paper leakage case, which compelled the National

Testing Agency to cancel the national examination. More than 22 lakh students across

the nation had appeared for the examination for admission to medical colleges.

Following exposure of paper leakage case the examination held on May 3 was

cancelled. Fresh examination will be held on June 21.

The link to the

paper leakage case was found spread in many states. CBI is investigating into

it.
