Prayagraj/Lucknow, 09 May (HS): Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh

Education Service Selection Commission, informed that in the course of the

written examination of a total of 18 subjects under Advertisement No. 02/2022

Lecturer Cadre conducted by the Commission, the examination of a total of 09

subjects was successfully conducted in the first and second shifts on Saturday

at the designated examination centres in 17 districts (Divisional Headquarters)

of the state.

He informed that in the first shift, from 09:30 am to 11:30 am, the examination

of Physics, Biology, Home Science, History and Education subjects was conducted

at 278 examination centres, whereas in the second shift, from 02:30 pm to 04:30

pm, the examination of English, Agriculture, Commerce and Sociology subjects

was conducted at 269 examination centres.

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar said that to ensure transparency and

fairness of the examination, all examination centres were closely monitored

from the AI Integrated Control Command Room established at the Commission

headquarters. During this, in the presence of the Commission members,

Secretary, Controller of Examinations and Deputy Secretary, the activities of

the examinees were continuously monitored through AI cameras installed at the

examination centres. He said that the examination was conducted in a completely

transparent, cheating-free, fair, smooth and timely manner at all the

designated examination centres in the state.

Dr. Prashant Kumar expressed his gratitude to the district administration and

local administrative officials for their active cooperation in successfully

conducting the examination. He reported that a total of 89,766 candidates

appeared in the written examination held on May 9, 2026, with female candidates

having a 34.89 percent attendance and male candidates having a 42.26 percent

attendance.
