Guwahati, 09 May (HS): The Leader of the NDA Legislature Party and caretaker Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit Lok Bhavan in Assam on May 10 at 11:15 AM to meet the Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya and stake claim to form the new government.

Prior to the meeting with the Governor, a joint meeting of the BJP Assam Pradesh unit and NDA alliance legislators will be held at 10:00 AM on May 10 at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhavan, Basistha Chariali in Guwahati.

The meeting is expected to formally endorse Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma as the leader of the NDA Legislature Party before the delegation proceeds to Lok Bhavan to submit the claim for government formation.-----------
