Commission. Before the funeral procession on Thursday, all the members of the

Saifai family, along with several state government ministers, visited Prateek

Yadav's residence on Vikramaditya Marg to pay their respects. Deputy Chief

Minister Brajesh Pathak described the funeral as a very sad moment, saying,

Prateek Yadav has left us untimely. I pray to God to grant him a place in

his feet. May God give the entire family the strength to bear this unbearable

pain.

their families paid their last respects and homage to him. Many religious

It

is noteworthy that Prateek Yadav, the stepbrother of former Chief Minister and

Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, suddenly fell ill on the

morning of May 13. He was taken to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared

him dead after a preliminary examination. The body was then taken to King

George's Medical College for a post-mortem examination, where a team of six

doctors conducted the post-mortem for approximately two hours and handed over

the body to the family. Doctors determined the cause of death to be cardiac

arrest. Following this, Prateek's body was placed for the final darshan at his

residence on Vikramaditya Marg.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, along with a

large number of leaders from various political parties, MPs, MLAs, and workers

arrived to pay their respects. This continued until his funeral procession

began on Thursday. Tight security arrangements were made around the residence

during this period.

Aparna

was not present at the time of Prateek's death: Pratik Yadav's health

deteriorated on Wednesday morning and he was brought to the Civil Hospital.

Aparna was out of the state at the time. Upon receiving the news of his death,

she arrived at his residence that afternoon. Subsequently, Pratik's body was

also brought home from the post-mortem house. As soon as the body arrived at

the residence, the atmosphere became somber, and Pratik's untimely death
