14 May (HS): A Felicitation Ceremony was conducted at HQ Central Air Command,

Prayagraj, to honour the members of the Central Air Command Sports Teams for

their outstanding achievements in various Air Force Sports Championships during

2025–26. Air Marshal B. Manikantan, PVSM, AVSM, VM, Air Officer

Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, felicitated the sportspersons and

commended them for their exceptional performances, perseverance, dedication and

competitive spirit.

The

AOC-in-C highlighted that Central Air Command remains steadfast in its

commitment to the promotion of sports through modern infrastructure,

state-of-the-art training facilities and regular competitive events aimed at

nurturing sporting talent. He reiterated that the Command would continue to

extend all necessary support to sportspersons, enabling them to achieve greater

milestones and bring further laurels to the Indian Air Force.

During

his interaction with the players, the Air Marshal emphasized that such

accomplishments serve as an inspiration for others to actively participate in

sports and strive for excellence. The ceremony concluded with a renewed

commitment towards strengthening sporting excellence and upholding the finest

traditions of the Indian Air Force, informed PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry

of Defence, Prayagraj.
