Lucknow,
14 May (HS): With the aim of building a strong Digital India and connecting
youth with future technologies, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission,
under the direction of Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent
Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is
effectively implementing the 'AI for All' initiative across the state. Under this
initiative, free online Artificial Intelligence (AI) training is being provided
to citizens of the state.
It
is noteworthy that this ambitious program was launched by Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath during a mega employment fair held in Muzaffarnagar on April 13,
2026. This program, run by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission in
collaboration with the global IT organization Oracle University, is proving
particularly useful for youth, students, candidates preparing for competitive
examinations, and ordinary citizens.
Minister
Kapil Dev Agarwal said that artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming
employment and industry today. The state government's goal is to empower more
youth to become self-reliant by acquiring knowledge of this modern technology
and access new employment opportunities. He directed that this scheme be widely
promoted in all districts, so that more youth from villages, towns, and urban
areas can participate in this free training.
The
program includes a course titled AI for You: Training and
Assessment, lasting approximately 3 hours and conducted entirely online.
Upon completing the training, candidates are assessed online, and successful
participants are awarded authentic certificates that will aid their career
development.
Mission
Director Pulkit Khare said that Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is
committed to taking this initiative to the masses and all the District
Programme Management Units have been directed to ensure maximum registration. Interested
candidates can register for free through a simple process by visiting the
official website of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission through the 'AI for
All' tab and get training at home.
