14 May (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, while
addressing a programme organised at a private hotel in Lucknow on Thursday,
expressed his views on the comprehensive changes, infrastructure development,
good governance, investment and public welfare schemes that have taken place in
Uttar Pradesh in the last nine years.
The
Deputy Chief Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government's nine years have
been dedicated to service, good governance, and development. The state
government has met public expectations and undertaken numerous historic
initiatives for the upliftment of villages, the poor, farmers, youth, women,
and the underprivileged. He said that the government is working with full
commitment to achieve the goal of a developed India and a developed Uttar
Pradesh.
He
said that today Uttar Pradesh is achieving new heights in the areas of
investment, infrastructure, expressways, connectivity, industry, education, and
employment. The government's objective is to extend the benefits of development
to every citizen of the state and to provide maximum employment and
self-employment opportunities to the youth.
The
Deputy Chief Minister said that the public has repeatedly given the government
the opportunity to serve them, and the government has strived to meet the needs
of the state's 25 crore people with complete dedication and transparency. He
expressed confidence that this nine-year tenure of Uttar Pradesh will be etched
in golden letters in the future.
He
said that along with infrastructure development, social and economic
transformation is also taking place rapidly in the state. The government is
continuously working to uplift the poor, provide employment to the youth,
enrich farmers, and empower women. Dignitaries from various fields, media
representatives, and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
