(HS): A trainer aircraft of Redbird Aviation Company crashed during an
emergency landing, near Gojubavi village in Baramati in in Pune district, in the
morning around 8.50. Although the pilot is safe, the villagers were shocked to
see the aircraft coming down, and recalled the crash in which former Deputy
Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others died.
The pilot noticed technical problems in the
aircraft flying at a low height and attempted emergency landing. A part of the
aircraft hit an electric pole while landing and hit the ground with a loud noise.
The villagers immediately rushed to the accident site. Police and rescue teams also rushed to the
site. None was injured in the accident. The trainee pilot was safe without any
injury.
