Bhubaneswar, 12 May (H.S.): CM Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed happiness after Odisha received national recognition in the ‘Connecting Maximum Habitations’ category on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

In a social media post, the Chief Minister described the achievement as a matter of great pride for the state and said it reflects the continuous efforts made towards strengthening rural infrastructure in Odisha.

Majhi credited the achievement to the special vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the consistent support of the Central Government. He said the state government has been working continuously to bring every region into the mainstream of development through effective implementation of centrally sponsored schemes.

Congratulating departmental officials, engineers and all those associated with the project, the Chief Minister said the coordinated efforts of the Centre and the State government are paving the way for the creation of a developed and prosperous Odisha.
