Guwahati, 12 May (HS): Four legislators, including Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, took the oath of office in Assamese language during the swearing-in ceremony held in Guwahati on Tuesday, while one MLA took the oath in the Bodo language.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Rameswar Teli, Atul Bora and Ajanta Neog took their oath in Assamese, whereas Charan Bodo read out the oath in Bodo. Among them, two legislators belong to the BJP, one to the AGP and one to the BPF.

The oath-taking ceremony witnessed the presence of several senior leaders and dignitaries. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived at the venue dressed in a traditional white kurta-pyjama.-----------
