Guwahati, 12 May (HS): Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP-led government in Assam for a third consecutive term, BJP national president Nitin Nabin visited the revered Kamakhya Temple and offered prayers on Tuesday.

It may be mentioned that several prominent leaders also visited the temple before the oath-taking ceremony. Among those who sought blessings at the shrine were Pramod Sawant, Sunetra Pawar, Samrat Choudhary and Rekha Gupta.

The visits took place amid large-scale preparations in Guwahati for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Assam government led by the BJP.-----------
