Bhubaneswar, 11 May (H.S.): Public darshan at the revered Puri Srimandir will remain suspended from 4 pm on Monday until the completion of the evening Sandhya Dhupa rituals, as the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration resumes the inventory of valuables stored in the Ratna Bhandar.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has announced that the counting and verification of ornaments of Lord Jagannath will recommence from Monday, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the state government.

Officials informed that the inventory exercise had been temporarily halted due to the Bahara Chandan Yatra rituals and will now continue over two days.

SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee stated that the remaining phase of the Ratna Bhandar inventory will begin on Monday, May 11, and continue on May 12 as well. He, however, noted that the exact timeline for completion cannot be confirmed at this stage, as the process is being carried out strictly under government-approved SOPs.

Authorities have assured that all prescribed guidelines are being followed to ensure transparency and security during the ongoing inventory exercise.
