
Guwahati, 10 May (HS): Senior BJP leaders and workers accorded a grand welcome to the party’s two central observers upon their arrival in Assam ahead of the crucial BJP Legislature Party meeting. Caretaker Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma along with top state BJP leaders received the observers warmly.
The two central observers, BJP'S former national president JP Nadda and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini have reached Vajpayee Bhavan in Guwahati to oversee the process of electing the BJP Legislature Party leader.
The BJP Legislature Party meeting is scheduled to be held at 10 am on Sunday. During the meeting, BJP MLAs will elect the Legislature Party leader, who will also be the party’s chief ministerial candidate for the formation of the new government in Assam.------------
