Lucknow, 10 May
(HS): According to Minister Anil Rajbhar on Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh
government is preparing to expand its cabinet to fill vacancies in the Council
of Ministers. Rajbhar told reporters that certain seats had been left empty
under the quota. The Uttar Pradesh Council of Ministers remained unfinished, and
we anticipate it to be completed today. He also sent his best wishes to the
ministers who are set to be sworn in during the expansion, adding, My
best wishes to all our honorable ministers who will be sworn in, and we pray to
Baba Vishwanath for their great future.”
Responding to Samajwadi Party head Akhilesh Yadav's remarks, Rajbhar defined
the cabinet enlargement as a Bharatiya Janata Party internal issue. He replied,
This is the Bharatiya Janata Party's internal affair; what is Akhilesh
Yadav's role in it? The Samajwadi Party has acquired a tendency of meddling in
other people's affairs.” “They have no work of their own, nor do they
contribute to the state's growth. When they got their own government, they
expanded as well. No one questioned it then, and neither did we,” he concluded.
