
Bhubaneswar, 10 May (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik have congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the armed forces following the successful flight-test of the advanced Agni missile equipped with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) capability.
In a social media message, Mohan Charan Majhi extended his greetings to DRDO, the Indian Army, and all stakeholders involved in the mission. The test was conducted from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is steadily emerging as a strong, self-reliant, and technologically advanced defence power. He described the achievement as a matter of pride for all citizens.
Similarly, Naveen Patnaik also congratulated DRDO on the successful test of the advanced Agni missile with MIRV capability from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island, located off the Odisha coast.
The successful test is being viewed as a significant milestone in India’s strategic defence capabilities.
