Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has congratulated Saraswat Cooperative Bank and Amul for surpassing the ₹1 lakh crore annual turnover mark in the financial year 2025-26.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Cooperation on Tuesday, Shah described the achievement as a vivid testament to the strength and immense potential of the cooperative sector.

He emphasised that this milestone is not only historic for cooperative banking and the dairy industry but will also infuse fresh momentum into India's journey towards Atmanirbhar Bharat, extending heartfelt felicitations to all dedicated workers associated with both institutions.
