New Delhi, 07 April (H.S.):

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will embark on an official visit to the United States from April 8 to 10.

The Ministry of External Affairs announced on Tuesday that the trip will offer an opportunity to comprehensively review India-US bilateral relations and advance cooperation in key areas.

Misri will engage with senior US Administration officials on a wide array of issues, including trade, defence, science and technology, as well as regional and global developments of mutual interest.

This visit follows External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's trip to Washington DC earlier this year in February, aligning with the regular high-level exchanges between both nations.
