Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge reminded the people of Assam of the guarantees outlined in the party's manifesto, stating they will benefit farmers, youth, women, small business owners, and tea garden workers alike.

In a post on X sharing his '5 Pratishruti' campaign, Kharge affirmed that Congress will take concrete steps to deliver justice and relief to Assam's residents. He pledged justice for Zubeen Garg within 100 days, unconditional cash transfers to women's bank accounts, and Rs 50,000 assistance for women starting or expanding businesses.

Kharge announced free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh for every family, permanent land pattas for 10 lakh indigenous sons of the soil, and a monthly pension of Rs 1,250 for senior citizens. He emphasized that these guarantees aim to strengthen the state's social and economic fabric, providing direct benefits to every section of society.
