New Delhi, 07 April (H.S.):
Amid the West Asia crisis, Tata Group-led Air India and Air India Express will jointly operate a total of 32 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the region today. IndiGo will also maintain its select services.
India's two largest airlines, Air India and IndiGo, issued travel advisories on Tuesday for flights to and from West Asia on April 7, detailing revised schedules and rebooking options for passengers. Middle East airspace disruptions continue to impact travel.
The airlines announced adjustments to flights serving Dubai, Jeddah, and Abu Dhabi, urging passengers to confirm bookings before heading to airports. The Air India group stated that both carriers will run 32 regular and irregular flights connecting India with West Asia.
Of these, 16 flights are non-scheduled services to and from the United Arab Emirates, approved by Indian and UAE regulators. Operations remain subject to slot availability and conditions at departure stations.
