Bhubaneswar, 06 April (H.S.): Reacting to the formation of the Special Development Councils , Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida stated that these councils are not merely positions, but carry significant responsibilities.

Deputy CM Parida emphasized that the party’s focus is on inclusive and comprehensive development. Through this initiative, the aim is to involve every individual in accelerating Odisha’s growth. She further noted that party workers who demonstrate dedication and diligence may gradually take on higher responsibilities, including positions comparable to Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister in the future.

Highlighting the purpose of the councils, she clarified that this move is intended to make development initiatives more effective and provides both a responsibility and an opportunity for district-level party workers to contribute meaningfully to the state’s progress.
