Bhubaneswar, 06 April (H.S.): Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Ganeshwar Behera has expressed concern over the continuous exit of party leaders and workers, stating that such developments will inevitably impact the party’s organizational strength.

Speaking to the media, Behera described the departure of several leaders and workers as unfortunate for the party. He acknowledged that these exits could weaken the organization and affect its internal cohesion. “It is unfortunate that some of our colleagues have left the party. This will certainly have an impact on the organization,” he said.

At the same time, Behera emphasized that the party is actively working on strategies to address the situation. He noted that efforts are underway to strengthen the organization and rebuild its structure to ensure that the party emerges stronger in the future.

He also termed the resignation of two Rajya Sabha MPs as a matter of serious concern, indicating that such incidents send negative signals and could affect the party’s internal stability.

Additionally, Behera criticized those leaders who, after being elected, voted against the party line. According to him, such actions undermine party unity and adversely affect the morale of party workers.

Expressing confidence in the party’s leadership and cadre, Behera said that BJD will overcome these challenges through collective efforts and organizational restructuring.

Notably, in recent days, several BJD leaders have left the party and joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), adding to the concerns over the party’s stability.
