Jammu, 06 April (H.S.): President of Janata Dal (United) Jammu & Kashmir, GM Shaheen, has criticized the Government over the poor condition of the Tapper-Babareshi road, calling it a serious public issue and an example of administrative failure.
He said the road, which is an important link for residents, commuters and transporters, has remained in a damaged and unsafe condition for a long time.
Shaheen said the road is filled with potholes, broken stretches and uneven surfaces, causing daily inconvenience, traffic disruption and damage to vehicles, besides posing a risk to human life.
He expressed concern that despite repeated complaints and visible deterioration, no effective steps have been taken by the authorities.
He demanded immediate repair and macadamization of the road and urged the administration to start restoration work without delay.
He also called for fixing responsibility on officials for their inaction.
