New Delhi, 29 April (H.S.): The newly launched Amrit Bharat Express between Ayodhya and Mumbai is being hailed as a vital, budget-friendly rail service for ordinary travelers, particularly those in non-AC categories seeking enhanced comfort and quicker journeys.

This train incorporates modern technology and passenger-centric upgrades, significantly improving the general class travel experience. Featuring push-pull technology with engines at both ends for better speed and punctuality, coaches include LED lighting, mobile charging points, and superior ventilation. Enhanced cleanliness, CCTV surveillance, and advanced braking systems ensure greater safety.

As a fully non-AC service, its fares align closely with regular express trains, making long-distance travel like Ayodhya-Mumbai affordable within common budgets—empowering passengers previously limited by higher costs. Covering Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nashik Road, Kalyan, and Thane in approximately 28 hours, it eases access to Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, and Shirdi.

Local passengers praise the service: Long journeys were once difficult and expensive, but this train offers better facilities at lower cost—true relief for common folk, said an Ayodhya resident. With this weekly train and Banaras-Hadapsar service, Amrit Bharat Express trains nationwide now total 66, boosting tourism, trade, and economic activity between religious hubs like Ayodhya and economic powerhouse Mumbai while easing network congestion.
