Guwahati, 26 April (HS): Three young women lost their lives in a tragic late-night road accident at Mathgharia in Guwahati after the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck.

According to reports, the incident occurred when a Swift car crashed into a truck parked along the roadside, leading to the death of all three occupants on the spot. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the vehicle badly damaged.

One of the deceased has been identified as Akanksha Saikia, a resident of Charaideo district. The identities of the other two victims are yet to be officially confirmed.

Police reached the spot soon after the accident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the mishap. Further details are awaited.--------
