In a post on X today, the Prime Minister shared the verse: प्रजासुखे सुखं राज्ञः प्रजानां च हिते हितम्। नात्मप्रियं प्रियं राज्ञः प्रजानां तु प्रियं प्रियम्॥
Explaining the subhashita's meaning, the Prime Minister stated that the happiness and welfare of elected representatives lie in the well-being and interests of the people. A true public servant rises above personal interests to prioritize the needs of the masses.
In his message, the Prime Minister commended elected representatives for their dedication to public and national service, describing it as inspirational. He extended congratulations to all and highlighted their contributions as vital to the nation's development.
