Gorakhpur, April 23

(HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged authorities on Thursday

to form special teams to resolve land issues quickly, stating that lawful

ownership must be maintained and illegal occupancy must be rigorously enforced.

Adityanath further stated that if powerful people intrude on any land, it

should be liberated and the perpetrators brought to justice. The chief minister

stated that no one should be spared for unlawful land possession. According to the official release, Adityanath

interacted with people during Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath temple, meeting over

200 people and hearing their complaints.

Referring petitions to authorities, he directed them to provide prompt and

acceptable redressal and assured the public that the government is dedicated to

ensuring justice and enhancing the quality of life for all citizens, according

to the statement.

The chief minister particularly requested that

specialist teams be sent to speed the resolution of land issues, according to

the report. Several persons contacted the chief minister, requesting financial

aid for medical care. Adityanath assured them of his full support and asked the

relevant officials to accelerate the process of developing and submitting

treatment estimates to the government. He also directed police to handle cases

in a transparent and fair manner, emphasizing that no injustice should be

committed and that each complainant be dealt with compassion.

In a post on X, he stated, “Today, in Gorakhpur,

the sacred land of penance of the great yogi Guru Shri Gorakhnath Ji, another

golden chapter of development, trust, and transformation is set to be added. At

a cost of Rs. 1,055 crore, the

inauguration and foundation stone laying of various public welfare

projects related to roads including the Nausad-Malouni road route and Rapti Eco

Park, drinking water, sewerage, and drainage will take place. Along with this,

the release of posters and toolkit of the ‘Swachh School Abhiyan’ will further

strengthen the people’s movement for cleanliness. This development of Gorakhpur

is an extension of the sensitive commitment to public trust and good

governance.”
