Guwahati, 23 April (HS): The hearing on the bail plea of Shyamkanu Mahanta, the prime accused in the Zubeen murder case, is set to resume in court on Thursday.

The hearing, which began on Wednesday, remained inconclusive and could not be completed. The court has scheduled the matter for further proceedings today.

During today’s hearing, the counsel of an another prime accused Siddhartha Sharma is expected to submit an affidavit before the court, which may play a crucial role in the continuation of the bail proceedings.----------
