Bhubaneswar, 02 April (H.S.): The men’s and women’s hockey teams of Odisha emerged champions at the inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Congratulating the teams on their achievement, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the players.

In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister said the achievement is a matter of great pride for the state. He noted that the remarkable performance of Odisha’s tribal sportspersons reflects their immense talent and dedication.

Majhi further stated that the success marks a significant milestone for the sporting community of Odisha and adds a new chapter to the state’s growing legacy in sports.

Expressing confidence in the athletes, the Chief Minister said he hopes that players from the state will continue to scale new heights in the future and bring further recognition to Odisha at national and international levels. He once again congratulated both teams for their outstanding accomplishment
