
Amethi, April 18 (HS): A truck
driver died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday in the Trishundi
industrial area, under the jurisdiction of the Ramganj police station in Amethi
district, Uttar Pradesh. Police arrived at the scene after receiving
information about the incident and took the body into custody and began an
investigation.
According to information received, the deceased has been identified as
Narendra Kumar (45), son of Nihal Singh, resident of village Ruheri, Hathras
Gate police station, Hathras district. It is being reported that Narendra Kumar
had arrived at the Coca-Cola factory in Trishundi with a truck loaded with
goods from Pune. After parking the truck outside the factory, he was talking on
his mobile phone and was going to the toilet with a bottle of water, when
suddenly he collapsed on the road and became unconscious. A fellow driver
immediately took him to the Community Health Center Bhadar with the help of an
ambulance, where doctors declared him dead after examination.

Krishna Mohan Singh said that prima facie the case appears to be a heart
attack. However, the actual cause of death will only be known after the
post-mortem report. The family has been informed of the incident and necessary
legal action is being taken.
