April 14 (HS): On Baisakhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
expressed cordial congratulations to the Sikh community and the state's people.
The festival's relationship to agriculture, culture, and the formation of the
Khalsa Panth is highlighted. He thanked everyone on Baisakhi, characterizing it
as a celebration of India's rich culture and agricultural traditions. He
recognized the festival's importance as a harvest festival that heralds the New
Year for farmers. He emphasized the attitude of service and courage
connected with the day, and wished the state prosperity.
In
a post on X, he stated, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all our
farmers, Sikh brothers, and the people of the state on the auspicious occasion
of Baisakhi, a festival symbolizing India's rich agricultural tradition and
glorious heritage of folk festivals. May this sacred festival of enthusiasm and
joy bring happiness, prosperity, and renewed energy to everyone's lives, this
is our best wishes.”
