New Delhi, 14 April (H.S.):

President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Maharashtra today as part of her ongoing four-day tour of Gujarat and Maharashtra, with her schedule centered on Nagpur. Her engagements in the state underline the administration’s focus on education and public service institutions.

According to the President’s Secretariat, Murmu will attend the second convocation ceremony of AIIMS Nagpur. The event is expected to celebrate the academic achievements of graduating students and mark a significant milestone for the institute.

Later in the day, she will also attend the valedictory ceremony of the 78th batch of Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) probationary officers at the National Academy of Direct Taxes, also in Nagpur. The day’s itinerary reflects a blend of ceremonial, academic, and administrative functions during her Maharashtra visit.
