April 14 (HS): Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary is being celebrated in

Uttar Pradesh today. This year, Ambedkar Jayanti is being celebrated not only

as a memorial day but also as a comprehensive campaign for social justice,

awareness, and public relations. In Lucknow, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national

president and former Chief Minister Mayawati paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar at

her residence. On this occasion, she issued a message to supporters and

workers. Meanwhile, at 9:30 a.m., at the Dr. Ambedkar Social Change Site in

Gomti Nagar, party state president Vishwanath Pal, along with senior officials,

will pay tribute to Dr. Ambedkar. BSP supporters began gathering in the capital

a day in advance for this event. By Monday evening, more than 25,000 workers

and supporters had arrived.
